Important Safety and Legal Disclaimer

The SYP Fluid Sampler is a precision scientific tool for professional and research use. It is water-resistant and ruggedly built for field and laboratory conditions, but it is not indestructible and is not rated for extreme environments, submersion, high-impact use, or conditions beyond the technical specifications. The electronics are rated from −10 °C to 50 °C; note that fluid sampling is not practical at or below freezing, as the sample fluid will freeze. Operate above 0 °C for reliable sampling.

You agree to take reasonable care when using, transporting, storing and maintaining the Product; to inspect it regularly and cease use if damage is detected; and to follow all instructions in the user manual. Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or non-approved accessories may void all protections and warranties. The Product is not for medical, life-support, aviation, nuclear, or other critical applications.

Warranty: the Product is warranted free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 18 months. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts at our discretion, on return with proof of purchase. It excludes normal wear and tear; damage from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorised repair or modification, or use contrary to instructions; cosmetic damage; consumables (e.g. batteries); and force-majeure or third-party software issues.

Limitation of liability: in no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Product. Full terms are in the user manual.

Keep your sampler in good health

  1. Before first power-on, remove both red packing inserts.
  2. Fully charge the battery before first use.
  3. Air-out and clean the unit periodically — prolonged humidity causes corrosion.
  4. We recommend a service / calibration check around 12 months of use; we'll send a reminder before your warranty ends.
